ASPCA Grants $1,000 to Cozee Valee Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.
Huntingdon, PA. The ASPCA has granted Cozee Valee Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. $1,000 from its Emergency Hay Support Fund. This funding could not have come at a better time for CVRS. The Economy is on unsteady ground, individuals are losing their homes, contributions continue to fall and hay is the last item that individuals or foundations normally help to fund.
CVRS is home to many deserving animals, all of which appreciate the chance to have a better life then they had in the past. All of these horses still carry the memories of the abuse and neglect that they have endured both emotionally and physically.
Hay is a key element for our rescued equines and the most used. Our rescue cares for up to 10 equines at any given time and utilizes roughly 100 bales of hay per month. Thanks to the ASPCA, many months of hay will be covered for all the well deserved horses at Cozee Valee Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. CVRS is working hard to rehabilitate and work with our horses until they are ready to leave our facility to be placed in responsible, caring and loving homes.
